The new home\u2019s annex of the Museu de Arte Contempor\u00e2nea of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (MAC-USP) was inaugurated in 2013 with a photo exhibition that registered the building\u2019s five-year renovation process: the artist Mauro Restiffe was there during three of those years and took more than 1,500 photos, 12 of which were selected for the exhibition \u201cObra\u201d, produced by ICCo. The museum became one of the partner institutions of ICCo, whose mission is also to create more and more of these partnerships, seeking a joint effort in the generation of content.
\nAll in black and white, the photographs reveal the stages of the renovation process and adaptation of spaces designed by Oscar Niemeyer, and recover certain solemnity of the building, while also recognizing it as a monument and ruin.
