Held in parallel to the 31st Bienal de S\u00e3o Paulo in November 2014, at the Ibirapuera Park Auditorium, the Forum had a five-day program that was free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The main theme, \u201cHow to Make Biennials in Contemporary Times,\u201d guided the event schedule, conceived by the curatorial team of the 31st Bienal de S\u00e3o Paulo: Charles Esche, Galit Eilat, Nuria Enguita Mayo, Pablo Lafuente, Oren Sagiv, Benjamin Seroussi and Luiza Proen\u00e7a .<\/p>\n<p>The Forum was held in partnership between ICCo, the Dutch Biennial Foundation and the Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Bienal de S\u00e3o Paulo, which also produced the book \u201cMaking Biennials in Contemporary Times,\u201d which brings together essays on the topics covered at the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The World Biennial Forum N\u00b02 brought together representatives of more than one hundred institutions from around the world to discuss issues related to the practice of art biennials.
