The Institute is a Public Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP) which is maintained by different resources, such as donations, sponsorships and culture incentive laws.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong><br \/>\nICCo&#8217;s mission is to expand the appreciation and understanding of the value of contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vision<\/strong><br \/>\nICCo believes in art as being a key transformative element in contemporary society.\u00a0ICCo advocates a greater presence of private enterprises for promoting culture and filling in the many gaps in Brazil\u2019s art system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategies for Action<\/strong><br \/>\nICCo articulates partnerships in order to strengthen dialogue and institutional cooperation, it promotes the exchange of cultures and ideas, and contributes to artistic training and the recovery of the country&#8217;s cultural memory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About ICCo Founded in 2009 by collector Regina Pinho de Almeida, ICCo is part of a select group of private institutions that support art in Brazil.
